A safety checklist for StonkFun launches and newly created markets

A launch can be technically valid and still be extremely risky. Use this checklist before connecting, signing or trading.

Use the official stonkfun.xyz address and inspect the entire domain. Search variations such as stonckfun or stonk funb can expose users to unrelated or deceptive pages. Bookmark verified destinations rather than trusting sponsored links or direct messages.

Read the transaction

A wallet signature can authorize a swap, token approval or more powerful account action. Check the asset, amount, receiving program and estimated impact. Reject unexpected requests and disconnect the application if the behavior does not match the intended action.

Reader note: Security begins with the domain and continues through every signature. Never share a seed phrase, and never treat a ticker as proof of authenticity.

Inspect the market

Verify both token mints, pool liquidity, holder concentration and creator history. Test price impact with a small hypothetical order. Newly launched markets can move sharply, and thin liquidity can make an exit substantially more expensive than an entry.

Protect the recovery phrase

No legitimate launchpad, support agent or airdrop form needs a seed phrase. Store it offline, never paste it into a browser and assume anyone asking for it is attempting to take control of the wallet.

Sources and methodology

Independent editorial content for information only. It is not financial, legal or tax advice. Crypto assets are volatile and newly launched tokens can lose most or all of their value.
