Trading volume measures the notional value exchanged. Revenue measures the fees retained or distributed under a protocol’s rules. A high-volume day can produce substantial fees, but the relationship depends on pool settings, fee tiers, rebates and the share allocated to different participants.
Separate every destination
A useful Stonk revenue analysis separates protocol revenue, creator economics, holder rewards and buyback transactions. Project materials describe a model in which trading activity feeds multiple destinations, including purchases and burns of STONK. The existence of that mechanism does not guarantee price appreciation; it describes a flow, not an outcome.
Read dashboards with a timestamp
Public dashboards can show lifetime totals, daily changes and recent pace. Each view answers a different question. Lifetime totals measure cumulative history, while a rolling 24-hour view is more sensitive to present activity. Analysts should record the observation time, methodology and valuation basis before comparing sources.
Signals worth following
Watch repeat launchers, graduation quality, liquidity retention and the share of activity driven by a small number of tokens. Revenue becomes more informative when it is linked to recurring use. A single spike may reflect product adoption, speculation or both; only a longer series can separate them.
Sources and methodology
Independent editorial content for information only. It is not financial, legal or tax advice. Crypto assets are volatile and newly launched tokens can lose most or all of their value.
